Construction of Mosque

Mosques are the integral part of Muslim community and an identification mark of Muslim areas. Sadly, there are still numerous villages in our state where generations have passed, years turned to decades but still the Muslims haven’t heard the sound of Adhaan (Prayer call). Due to their ignorance, cult members lead them to temples, missioners take them to Churches and the Qadiyanis take them to their “prayer halls”.

Don’t we feel a sense of shame and failure when our brothers and sisters are led astray, while we remain passive? Millions of rupees are being spent on building mosques in cities and urban areas, yet little attention is paid to our impoverished brothers and sisters struggling in rural areas. In these circumstances, building mosques in villages becomes even more crucial than in cities. A mosque in a village is not just a source of continuous reward (Sawaab-e-Jaria), but also a safeguard for the faith and religion of the Muslim Ummah of that village.

The Majlis Tahaffuz Khatme Nubuwwat Trust encourages affluent Muslims to establish mosques in rural areas, ensuring that funds are distributed responsibly for construction. The design of the mosques meets the needs of the local Muslim population, with smaller mosques featuring a hall and verandah that can accommodate at least three rows of worshippers.

In rural areas, Qadiyani’s and Christian missionaries are taking advantage of poor Muslims by offering food, material goods, and financial assistance to lure them into converting. Many Muslims who lack knowledge of their faith are being deceived by these missionaries, who present themselves under the guise of “Betterment and Beneficiary” services.

Alhamdulillah, with the support of Majlis Tahaffuze Khatme Nubuwwat Trust, good-hearted individuals have contributed to building over 150 mosques in villages where Qadiyani and Christian missionaries were targeting our Muslim brothers and sisters. We have also appointed Imaams and teachers to these mosques to provide guidance and education.

The trust is working to extend its services to more villages, but the troubling fact remains that a large number of our Muslim brothers and sisters have adopted non-Muslim names, let alone they remember Kalimah of Tauheed (Islamic Monotheism). They are engaging in Hindu and Christian practices and observing their festivals. This state of their faith and belief challenges the integrity of our Islamic society. We must not overlook this issue and must actively work to safeguard our uneducated and impoverished Muslim brothers and sisters from being exploited by blasphemous cults and missionaries.
