Construction of Mosques

Masjids are the integral part of Muslim community and an identification mark of Muslim areas. Sadly there are still numerous villages in our state and as well as in A.P. where generations have passed, years turned to decades but still the Muslims haven’t heard the sound of Adhaan. Due to their ignorance, cult members lead them to Temples, missionaries take them to Churches and the Qadiyanis take them to their “Prayer halls”.

Is it not a challenge to our pride and dignity that our brothers/sisters are being led astray while we are cooling our heals? Lakhs and Crores of rupees are being pumped into the construction of Masjid in the cities and urban areas, but no one takes heed of our poor and humble brothers/sisters who are sweating it out in the villages. In such circumstances the construction of mosque is even more important in villages than in cities. A mosque in a village is not only a great source of never ending rewards (Sawaab-e-Jaria) but also a shield for protecting the faith and religion of Muslim Ummah.

Majlise Tahafuzze Khatme Nubuwwat Trust encourages the affluent Muslims to establish mosques in villages and takes great care to ensure proper distribution of funds to construction tasks. Masjids are designed as per the requirement and keeping in minds of Muslim population in those areas. For example, small mosque consist of a suitable hall and a verandah, which can accommodate at least three rows of worshipers.

In the villages Qadiyani and Christian missionaries in the name of beneficiary services are taking advantage of poverty of poor Muslim brothers. They are providing food stock, material things, and monetary benefits to lure poor Muslim members to change their religion. The Muslim brothers/sisters who are not aware of Islamic faith and Islamic knowledge are being trapped by fraud measures of these missionaries in the name of “Betterment and Beneficiary” services.

Alhamdulillah, Majlise Tahaffuze Khatme Nubuwwat Trust has constructed over 135 Mosques in the villages where these Qadiyani and Christian missionaries targeted our Muslim brothers/sisters and we have appointed Imaams and Teachers in these Mosques. The trust is expanding work by providing services in more villages than before, but the fact remains that a huge number of Muslim brothers/sisters have Hindu names leave aside the Kalima of Touheed (Islamic Monotheism). They are practicing the Hindu and Christian traditions and their festivals. The state of their faith and belief in Islam puts a question mark on our Islamic Society. Hence we cannot ignore it, and we need to play our part to protect our uneducated and poor Muslim members to be an easy target of blasphemous cults and missionaries.

Appeal for Construction of Mosque:

Dear Brothers and Sisters of Islam, Assalamualaikum warehmatullahi wabarakatuhu !

There is great reward in building a Mosque for Allah’s sake. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever builds a Mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim]

It is also narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever builds a Mosque for Allah – be it large or small – Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhî]

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Among what continues to accrue for a believer of his good works after death are the following: knowledge that he learned and then imparted to others, a pious child whom he left behind, a copy of the Qur’ân that he bequeathed, a Masjid that he built, a guest house he built for travelers, a river that he made to flow, and charity he spends from his wealth when he is in good health – all of this continues to avail him after his death.” [SunanIbn Majah and Sunan al-Bayhaqî] The building of a Masjid is a way for a person to continue to earn blessings after death, in’sha’Allah.
